LA NOSTRA CASA
Casariga is a wooden house inserted in a fold of the slope and covered with a layer of earth.
The effect is that the roof is a continuation of the lawn.
La structure as a whole is impressive being the base stalls of 1000 square meters, but everything almost disappears in the landscape.
Our guests sometimes struggle to find us and turn back and forth looking for a house that doesn't exist.
Despite being underground, it is still a wooden house with its characteristic smell which, I don't know why, puts you in a good mood.
Most of the walls are in raw pine, the floor is in bamboo and larch outside.
From the outside you can see only wood, stone walls made with stones collected all around during construction excavations, glass and corten steel, but above all lawn, forest, flowers and trees. from a distance there is not the slightest perception that there is such a big house in that place
The meadow and the forest are one with the house, are therefore very well kept, but respecting their wild state. Absolute queen of this space is Aunt Raffa, always in controversy with Luna, il our dog.
